Broiler/Fryer:  Daily National Broiler Market at-a-Glance


Whole broiler/fryer prices are steady to weak for heavier sizes and
steady for the smaller sizes. Offerings are light to moderate. Retail
demand light to moderate. Foodservice demand mostly moderate. Floor 
stocks are adequate for current needs. Market activity is slow to 
moderate. In the parts structure, dark meat items are steady to 
firm and white items are mixed but mostly steady. Supplies of tenders 
are balanced and clearing well; wings and most dark meat items are 
light to moderate with exports moving well. In production areas, live
supplies are moderate at mostly desirable weights.
