     Dry Whole Milk - U.S.

     Report 5 - Released on January 30, 2020

     Nationwide, dry whole milk spot prices are mixed this week. Some processors continue
     clearing stocks from the previous year at lower prices, which is reflected in the lower end
     of the pricing range. On the other hand, the high end of the range remained steady,
     mirroring a few sales based on specific brands. The trading activity in the spot market is
     light as most sales are dictated by contractual obligations. The interest from bakers is
     fair/good as the spring baking season approaches. At the moment, dry whole milk inventories
     are slightly short in the cash market throughout the country.
     Prices for: U.S., All First Sales, F.O.B., Conventional, and Edible Dry Whole Milk
     Price Range  - 26% Butterfat; $/LB:                    1.7000 - 1.9000
