Demand was good to very good. Hay offered was first through fourth cutting alfalfa consigned from eastern Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle. Most alfalfa sold to dairies in the Corn belt states with limited amount of cow hay to Colorado, and some horse hay to Tennessee. This hay auction was a one-day timed offering where all buyers could bid on the internet. All sales were FOB the stack on the farm or ranch and sold by the ton in semi-load lots. All hay has been tested with results available for each lot.
