   A large crowd was on hand for this month’s Special Bred Cow and 
Cow/calf pairs sale.  Thursday’s special included a nice offering of 
mostly young black bred cows 3-6 yrs and young 3-6 yrs blk cow/calf pairs 
in the offering selling with moderate demand.  Bred cows were mostly in 
the 2nd and 3rd stage. 

   Bred Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2  2-6 yrs 1100-1550 lbs 2nd-3rd stage 
1050.00-1325.00; 4-5 yrs 1200-1450 lbs 1st stage 850.00-875.00; short 
sold to aged cows 1350-1650 lbs 2nd-3rd stage 760.00-850.00.  Medium and 
Large 2  2-6 yrs 950-1500 lbs 2nd-3rd stage 775.00-1025.00; 3-7 yrs 1100-
1350 lbs 1st stage 525.00-760.00; 7 yrs to aged cows 950-1300 lbs 2nd-3rd 
stage 600.00-710.00.  Medium 1-2 few 4-6 yrs 900-1200 lbs 2nd-3rd stage 
few 525.00-575.00.


   Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2  2-7 yrs 1000-1650 lbs w/150-300 lb 
calves 1300.00-1575.00; lot short solid mouth 1250-1300 lbs w/150-200 lb 
calves 1250.00.  Medium and Large 2  900-1350 lbs w/100-250 lb calves 
1025.00-1275.00; short solid to aged cows 1000-1450 lbs w/100-200 lb 
calves 750.00-1000.00.  Medium 1-2  1000-1150 lbs w/100-150 lb calves 
625.00-825.00.  Large 2 pkg 1400-1450 lbs w/150 lb calves 875.00.   


   Breeding Bulls: few coming 2 yrs 1480-1600 lbs blk 2000.00-2100.00; 
Yearling bulls few 1225-1425 lbs 1100.00-1350.00; yearling bulls thin 
800-1200 lbs 700.00-900.00.
