Cheese production schedules in the Northeast are fairly busy. Available milk supplies are keeping plants operating at/near capacity. Most manufacturers' inventories are sufficient for filling near-term orders. Some plants are building inventories. Regional retail and food service demands have been positive. In the Northeast, the wholesale cheese prices for cheddar and Muenster moved up by $0.0050. Also, the process cheese prices increased by $0.1100. The Grade A Swiss price is unchanged this week.
