Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, Feb 5, 2019

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
   The Mar Soybean Meal futures closed 2.30 lower at 309.50, May closed 2.30 lower at 
313.50. The Mar Soybean Oil futures closed 27 points higher at 30.38 cents per pound, 
May closed 25 points higher at 30.68 cents per pound. The Rail delivery of high 
protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 2.30 to 11.30 lower at 275.50, the basis was 
steady to 9.00 lower at 34.00 under the March Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 
pct protein was 5.00 higher from 220.00-230.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. 
Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 lower from 160.00-
215.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was limited at 219.50, the 
basis was limited at 90.00 under the March Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in 
Minnesota was mixed, 23 points lower to 27 points higher from 30.38-31.38 cents per 
pound; the basis was steady to 50 points lower from option to 100 points over the 
March soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady to 5.00 lower from 190.00-235.00; 
Pork was mixed, 15.00 lower to 15.00 higher from 230.00-275.00. Yellow Grease was 
steady from 20.00 to 21.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was mixed, 50 points 
lower to 125 points higher from 23.75 to 24.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 
steady from 525.00-575.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 10.00 lower from 480.00-
575.00; Pork was 15.00-25.00 higher from 600.00-650.00.

Millfeeds:
   Wheat Middlings were 2.00 to 5.00 lower from 68.00-85.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
