Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Monday, December 30, 2019

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week
Oilseeds:
The January Soybean Meal futures closed 4.80 lower at 297.50 and March closed 4.10
lower at 302.30. The January Soybean Oil futures closed 135 points higher at 35.17
cents per pound, March closed 135 points higher at 35.45 cents per pound. The Rail
delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 1.10 to 4.10 lower at 282.30
the basis was 20 under the March Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein
was not available in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber,
34 pct protein was not available in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was
not available. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 135 points higher from 34.67-35.67 cents
per pound, the basis ranged 50 points under to 50 points over the January soybean oil
futures.
Animal Protein:
Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 10.00 to 20.00 higher from 165.00-200.00;
Pork was mixed, 5.00 lower to 15.00 higher from 195.00-230.00. Yellow Grease was 50
to 250 points higher from 20.00-26.50 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 100 to
175 points higher from 22.00-27.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was mixed, 25.00
lower to 50.00 higher from 300.00-400.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 50.00
higher from 700.00-775.00; Pork was mixed, 25.00 lower to 10.00 higher from 760.00-
825.00.
Millfeeds:
Wheat Middlings were steady to 5.00 lower from 115.00-130.00
Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified.
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
