Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, Apr 09, 2019

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week
Oilseeds:
The May Soybean Meal futures closed 1.50 lower at 309.10, July close 1.40 lower at
312.80. The May Soybean Oil futures closed 8 points higher at 29.04 cents per pound
and July closed 6 points higher at 29.35 cents per pound. The Rail delivery of high
protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 1.50 lower from 277.10-284.10, the basis was
steady from 32.00 to 25.00 under the May Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct
protein was steady from 235.00-250.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower
Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 5.00 to 10.00 lower from 160.00-180.00 in the
North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 11.50 to 16.50 lower from 219.10-229.10,
the basis ranged 90.00 to 80.00 under the May Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in
Minnesota was 8 points higher from 28.54-29.29 cents per pound; the basis was steady
from 50 points under to 25 points over the May soybean oil futures.
Animal Protein:
Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 5.00 to 15.00 lower from 175.00-225.00;
Pork was 5.00 lower at 235.00. Yellow Grease was steady to 200 points higher from
18.00-22.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 25 to 250 points higher from
21.00-23.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady to 20.00 higher from 450.00-
500.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 25.00 higher at 700.00; Pork was steady at
750.00.
Millfeeds:
Wheat Middlings were steady to 2.00 lower from 68.00-85.00.
Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified.
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
