Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, Dec 04, 2018

Feedstuffs were mixed this past week. 

Oilseeds:
   The Jan Soybean Meal futures closed 7.60 higher at 314.70, Mar closed 7.50 higher 
at 317.50. The Jan Soybean Oil futures closed 151 points higher at 28.90 cents per 
pound, Mar closed 146 points higher at 29.11 cents per pound. The Rail delivery of 
high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 7.60 to 9.60 higher from 279.70-286.70, 
the basis steady to 2.00 higher from 35.00 to 28 under the January Soybean Meal 
futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was 10.00 to 15.00 higher from 215.00-230.00 in 
the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 
5.00 to 15.00 higher from 170.00-200.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola 
Meal was 7.60 higher at 239.70, the basis was steady at 75.00 under the January 
Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 174 points higher from 29.90-31.40 
cents per pound; the basis had no comparison from 100 to 250 points over the January 
soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady to 15.00 higher from 190.00-250.00; 
Pork was 5.00 lower to 10.00 higher from 260.00-275.00. Yellow Grease was 50 points 
higher from 18.50-20.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 50 points higher at 
22.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady to 5.00 lower from 435.00-550.00. 
Blood Meal was steady to 20.00 higher from 450.00-625.00; Pork was steady to 5.00 
lower from 590.00-650.00.

Millfeeds:
   Wheat Middlings were 15.00 to 20.00 higher from 100.00-130.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. Animal ingredients 
are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
