Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, Jan 29, 2019

Oilseed feedstuffs were mixed, while animal protein feedstuffs were mixed this past 
week. 

Oilseeds:
   The Mar Soybean Meal futures closed 1.20 lower at 311.80, May closed 0.90 lower at 
315.80. The Mar Soybean Oil futures closed 105 points higher at 30.11 cents per 
pound, May closed 109 points higher at 30.43 cents per pound. The Rail delivery of 
high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 1.20 to 3.20 lower from 277.80-286.80, the 
basis was steady to 2.00 lower from 34.00 to 25.00 under the March Soybean Meal 
futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady from 215.00-225.00 in the North 
Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 
10.00 lower from 165.00-215.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 
limited at 221.80, the basis was limited at 90.00 under the March Soybean Meal 
futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 55 to 105 points higher from 30.11-31.61 cents 
per pound; the basis was steady to 50 points lower from option to 150 points over the 
March soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein had no comparison from 190.00-240.00; Pork had 
no comparison from 245.00-260.00. Yellow Grease had no comparison from 20.00 to 21.00 
cents per pound. Choice White Grease had no comparison from 22.50 to 24.50 cents per 
pound. Feather Meal had no comparison from 525.00-575.00. Ruminant Blood Meal had no 
comparison from 480.00-585.00; Pork had no comparison from 585.00-625.00.

Millfeeds:
   Wheat Middlings were steady from 70.00-90.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
