Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, May 14, 2019

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
   The July Soybean Meal futures closed 4.80 higher at 298.00 and August closed 4.70 
higher at 299.50. The July Soybean Oil futures closed 10 points lower at 27.00 cents 
per pound and August closed 11 points lower at 27.13 cents per pound. The Rail 
delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 4.80 to 5.80 higher from 
265.00-266.00, the basis was steady to 1.00 higher from 33.00 to 32.00 under the July 
Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 25.00 higher from 
235.00-250.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 
pct protein was 15.00 to 20.00 lower from 130.00-140.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota 
area. Canola Meal was 4.80 to 9.80 higher from 203.00-218.00, the basis was steady to 
5.00 higher from 80.00 to 95.00 under the July Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in 
Minnesota was 10 points lower from 26.50-27.50 cents per pound; the basis was steady 
from, 50 points under to 50 points over the July soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was mixed 20.00 lower to 10.00 higher from 
160.00-200.00; Pork was 10.00 higher with limited trade at 210.00. Yellow Grease was 
50 to 75 points higher from 20.50-22.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 100 
points higher from 24.00-26.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady to 25.00 
lower from 325.00-400.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady from 660.00-800.00; Pork was 
steady with limited trade at 825.00. 

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady from 60.00-80.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
