Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, Jan 8, 2019

Oilseed feedstuffs were mixed, while animal protein feedstuffs were 
steady this past week. 

Oilseeds:
   The Mar Soybean Meal futures closed 6.70 higher at 321.60, May 
closed 6.80 higher at 325.10. The Mar Soybean Oil futures closed 
25 points higher at 28.43 cents per pound, May closed 25 points 
higher at 28.69 cents per pound. The Rail delivery of high protein 
Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 6.70 higher from 291.60-296.60, the 
basis was steady from 30.00 to 25.00 under the March Soybean Meal 
futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 lower 
from 215.00-220.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower 
Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 higher from 
165.00-215.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 
mixed, 18.30 lower to 1.70 higher from 221.60-241.60, the basis 
was 5.00 to 25.00 lower from 100.00 to 80.00 under the March 
Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 25 points 
higher from 28.93-29.93 cents per pound; the basis was steady 
from 50 to 150 points over the March soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady to 5.00 higher 
from 190.00-240.00; Pork was steady at 260.00. Yellow Grease was 
25 to 100 points higher from 19.25-20.50 cents per pound. Choice 
White Grease was steady to 50 points higher from 22.00-23.00 
cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady to 35.00 higher from 
485.00-565.00. Blood Meal was steady to 20.00 higher from 470.00-
625.00; Pork was steady from 580.00-650.00.

Millfeeds:
   Wheat Middlings were 5.00 to 10.00 lower from 80.00-90.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
