     Whole Milk Powder - Oceania

     Prices for whole milk powder in Oceania are mixed. Production is quite strong now. The lift
     in upper range prices is attributed to certain buyers seeking near term delivery from
     preferred sources. The lower range prices movement is attributed to strong production and
     availability for more flexible buyers. Some manufacturers also note that early October New
     Zealand WMP export interest from Asia has slightly slowed.

     WMP exports from New Zealand January - August 2019, 938,000 MT, were up 13.2 percent from
     January - August 2018, according to CLAL data made available to USDA.

     WMP exports from Australia July 2019 ± August 2019, 7,290 MT, were down 19.8 percent from
     the same two months last year, according to Dairy Australia.

     At GDT event 245 on October 1, the WMP all contracts price, $3,141, decreased 0.2 percent.
     The November contract, $3,257, increased 0.8 percent.
