     Whole Milk Powder - Oceania

     Prices for whole milk powder in Oceania are mixed, down at the low end of the price range
     but higher at the top. WMP production and offerings are seasonally light. Buyers with needs
     in the near term are paying a bit more to get delivery. Contracting for coming months is
     ongoing, and prices are more flexible.

     New season WMP production has begun. If typical patterns hold, WMP production will be
     increasing quickly as seasonal milk production begins trending up. Oceania is attentive to
     channeling milk into WMP, an important regional dairy product. Negotiations for contracting
     are underway and the velocity will be increasing.

     At GDT event 239 on July 2, the August WMP contracts price, $3,131, increased 4.6 percent.
     However, September and October contract prices declined.

     WMP exports from New Zealand January - May 2019, 717,000 MT, were up 22.8 percent from
     January - May 2018, according to CLAL data provided to USDA.
