MD_DA127 Whole Milk Powder - Oceania Report 25 - Released on June 20, 2019 Prices for whole milk powder in Oceania are weaker. WMP production is light at this time of year. Most buyers are stocked for near term needs as the production cycle is anticipated. Buyers noted unexpected increased WMP availability. That factor is attributed as a reason that prices moved lower. Current WMP production is focused on filling contracts. Many plants are intentionally producing less to be able to perform scheduled equipment maintenance in preparation for the new season. Individual plant efficiencies also lead to some plants reducing output when low milk volumes are available.
